About Tromso

Tromsø sits well inside the Arctic Circle, the lively 'Gateway to the Arctic' and capital of northern Norway. It packs cathedrals, a cable-car mountaintop, and a surprising café and craft-beer scene onto an island ringed by snow-streaked peaks and fjords. In summer the midnight sun never sets; in winter it's one of the world's prime spots to chase the Northern Lights and meet huskies and reindeer.
