Kokusai-dori ('International Street') is Naha's 1.6-km shopping spine, lined with awamori (rice spirits) shops, Ryukyuan lacquerware, and Bingata textile studios. The adjacent Makishi market sells sea snakes, purple yams, and Okinawan pork from nose to tail.

2 Churaumi Aquarium full-day — express bus north to the Ocean Expo Park complex; combine the aquarium with the adjacent Emerald Beach.

3 Gyokusendo Cave and Okinawa World — 30 minutes south; cave walk, habu snake show, and craft workshops.
