This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Royal Price Tracker (the “Service”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account & contact: email address, name, and (if you provide it) phone number and mailing address.
Communication preferences & consent: your email and SMS alert settings, and your SMS consent and its timestamp.
Tracking data you create: the cruises, cabins, and add-ons you track, target prices, and price history we record for them.
Payment data: if you subscribe to Premium, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your plan status.
Usage & device data: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device information, and diagnostic logs.

2. How we use it

Provide the Service — monitor prices and send you price-drop alerts by email and/or SMS.
Manage your account, Premium subscription, and billing.
Send transactional messages (sign-in links, receipts, service notices) and, if you haven’t opted out, product and marketing emails.
Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers we share with

We share limited data with vendors who process it on our behalf, under contract:

Stripe — payment processing.
Twilio — SMS delivery.
SendGrid (Twilio) — email delivery and engagement analytics.
Render — application hosting and database.
Viator and TravelTek — excursion and cruise data used to power tracking and booking features.
Error-monitoring and infrastructure providers used to keep the Service running.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. SMS & email

Message and data rates may apply to SMS. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any such email or your account settings. Transactional messages (e.g., sign-in links, receipts) may continue as needed to operate your account.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion (see below).

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
